Delivery Driver/Shop Assistant: Part Time
Start Date: August 17th or thereabouts
We are looking to fill a heavy part time position as a Delivery Driver with day time hours approx 4-5 days per week. Ability to help with late night "strike" tear down services after weddings a couple shifts per month.
Job Description:
-Daily pickup of our floral arrangements at our floral shop
-Assisting the floral designer in preparing notecards, bows, and loading of the arrangements into the vehicle
-Using our routing software to prepare your delivery route for the day
-Assisting in setting up/delivering/breaking down of weddings and events
-Picking up flowers and supplies from our local wholesaler
-Shop assistance as needed between deliveries. Includes processing flowers, unboxing vases, accepting customer phone orders, watering plants, etc.
Qualifications:
-No previous floral experience necessary, just an awesome attitude. This job is perfect for energetic, quick thinkers who like variety and can problem solve in the moment.
-Valid Drivers License and Safe Driving History
-Must be comfortable driving your own reliable vehicle for deliveries. Ideally own a roomy vehicle such as SUV, Mini Van, or hatch back. Company Delivery van is provided for most shifts, but your personal vehicle is also occasionally used, with mileage compensation provided.
-Smart phone that can download our delivery routing software

Pay:
Base Pay starting from $17/per hour + Tips + Mileage reimbursement when driving your own vehicle.

Experienced Floral Designer: Part Time
Start Date: Sept 14th or thereabouts
We are looking to fill a part time position as a Floral Designer with daytime hours 2-3 days per week on Mondays, most Fridays, and Saturdays. Ability to help with late night "strike" tear down services after weddings a couple shifts per month.
This position is only for experienced Floral Designers. Qualifications to Include:
-Minimum 2 years floral design experience
-Experience with weddings & events including arches, installations, and calculating recipes for such event work.
-Wide range of artistic design experience including both traditional and modern styles in daily arrangements, funeral work, weddings, corporate decor, and installations.
Job Description:
-Designing daily arrangements including wrapped bouquets, vase arrangements, funeral arrangements, wreaths, and corporate arrangements.
-Designing wedding arrangements, bridal bouquets, arches, installations, bouts and corsages, and other event work.
-Assisting in the set up and break down of weddings and events.
-Processing flowers, cleaning work area & coolers as needed
-Answering phones as needed and assisting walk in customers with orders

Job Type: Part Time Position
Pay: $18.00-24.00 per hour, plus tips, depending upon experience.
